CSV-1000 Detects Early Vision Loss in Mild Alzheimer’s

Recently published research from the Complutense University of Madrid showed that contrast sensitivity (CS) testing, as measured by the VectorVision CSV-1000, detected early vision loss in patients with mild Alzheimer’s. The researchers tested 26 Alzheimer’s patients and 28 age-matched normal subjects for visual acuity, color vision, contrast sensitivity and ocular coherence tomography (OCT).
